See the Great Bite truck on Amazon for $13.49
The deal: $13.49 on Amazon (list $14.94)
The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Sharks vs. Dinos Great Bite (Team Shark 3/8, 2025 Edition) is $13.49 on Amazon, down from a regular price of $14.94. That's about $1.45 off, or roughly 10%.
We'd call that a fair price, not a steal. It's a small, low-risk pick for parents who keep a drawer of gifts on hand. It's well-reviewed too: Amazon shows roughly 4.8-4.9 stars from 49 ratings, though the ratings can differ across regional Amazon pages, so check the live number.
What you're getting: one 1:64 die-cast truck, not a set
To be clear about the purchase: this is one 1:64-scale die-cast vehicle. It is not the full Sharks vs. Dinos collection and it isn't a multipack.
- Vehicle: Great Bite, Team Shark variant
- Scale: 1:64, die-cast
- Series position: 3/8 in the 2025 Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Sharks vs. Dinos lineup
- Look: Retailer descriptions mention a blue, shark-themed design and metal construction
- Sale price: $13.49 (regular $14.94)
The listing doesn't confirm dimensions, weight, or included accessories, so don't count on anything beyond the truck itself.
Who it's for: party-gift drawers, stocking stuffers, and easy rewards
This works best as a small, themed gift. Good fits include:
- A birthday-party present when you need something quick and not too pricey
- A stocking stuffer for a kid who likes monster trucks, sharks, or both
- A low-key reward for a chore chart or a good report card
- A one-off add to an existing Hot Wheels Monster Trucks collection
It's a single truck, so it fits best as a small extra rather than a main present.
Safety note: not for kids under 3
The listing marks this toy as unsuitable for children under 3 because of small parts. If you're buying for a family with a toddler in the house, keep that in mind. Check the warning on the live listing before you gift it.
Is it a good price? What the discount and the $24.99 specialist listing tell us
The discount is modest: $1.45 off. We don't have price-history data, so we can't say it's a low point, and we won't pretend it is.
For context, the specialist retailer ToyWiz lists the same truck at $24.99. That price may reflect collector or reseller markup, so it isn't a typical market price. It does show that $13.49 on Amazon is a reasonable deal compared with that listing. Amazon prices can shift, so confirm the price at checkout.
Collector corner: what "3/8 Team Shark Great Bite" means
If you collect, here's the short version:
- 3/8 is this truck's position in the 2025 Sharks vs. Dinos series, in the Team Shark group.
- Collector databases identify it as toy number JCF03 in Mix 9.
- Those same databases list other 2025 Great Bite variants, so this isn't identical to the standard Great Bite release.
- ToyWiz cites an August 2025 release.
Packaging, paint, and wheel details can vary by production mix or region. If a specific version matters to you, compare the listing photos and details with what you're after. We can't promise packaging condition or carded collectibility.
Want more? Other Sharks vs. Dinos options
If this truck has you looking at the rest of the lineup, these are worth a look:
- Team Dino Bigfoot 4/8, the next number in the series
- Dragon Demolition playset, which includes Great Bite and Rageasaur
- Sharks vs. Dinos multipacks that include Great Bite alongside other trucks
Prices and availability change, so check each listing before you buy.
Before you buy: check the seller, current price, and current rating
A quick checklist:
- Seller: Make sure it's sold by Amazon or a reputable seller at the listed price.
- Price: Confirm it still shows $13.49.
- Rating: Look at the live star rating and review count.
- Warning: Re-read the under-3 small-parts notice before gifting.
If it all checks out, grab it for $13.49 on Amazon while the sale price lasts.
